Holly Beach – "The Cajun Riviera"
Located near the junction of LA Hwy's 82 and 27 is the small community of Holly Beach, LA. As secondary waypoints, it is located 10 miles west of the metropolitan city of Cameron or 12 miles east of Johnson Bayou.
At an elevation of just 7', this resiliant community has been devistated by several hurricanes in the past, most recently being "Rita" and "Ike".
Holly Beach is one of the few areas in Louisiana/Gulf of Mexico where you can find sandy beaches away from the crowds and enjoy your "shoreside" RV'ing experience while infusing a "few bucks" into an area that could use your help. Be prepared to be have fun fishing, swimming or simply walking in the sands of Gulf of Mexico, Holly Beach RV Park is @ 337-536-9824 . Seven miles West of Holly Beach is Constance Beach, a small RV Park with hook ups and a couple of cabins is located at this beach. The place is called "Redfish Haven" @ 337-569-2190
You can't help but feeling you are "back in time" while being but a few miles from the community of Cameron for any needed resupplies.
